Sometimes we do get a lot of elk wanding through the neighborhood. They poop in our yards, but they are beautiful creatures. One recent Saturday I saw these a few blocks from my house, so I ran and got my camera and snapped a few shots!

This was up Kerr Gulch Road a little ways from my house. It's a little tough to see because the sun is just over my shoulder, but there are about a hundred elk in that snowy meadow behind me!
